Just got the call from the adoption specialist. Stephanie and I were matched with the little girl we met at the last party...Chelsea. She is 10 years old, red hair, blue eyes, freckles...she looks like us...only cute. LOL!!! Thank you all for your support!!!
Neil that is awesome.. Congratulations.. could not happen to a nicer couple..
Great news Neil and Steph!! When you called me and told me the news it completely made my day!! You two are awesome people with so much to offer your daughter. I still can't help but wonder how she can look so much like both of you!! What really happened 10 years ago?? Are you sure you and Steph didn't meet at a party one crazy night or something?? Seriously, i feel she was meant to be a part of your life for a long time. Now is just the right time!!!
That is just great news Neil!!! There's a special place in heaven for folks like you who open their lives to someone who needs their help. My hat's off to you and Steph.
Looks like this weekend we will be getting together with Chelsea. We are meeting with her adoption team on Thursday. We can't wait till she is moved in with us! Hopefully, that will happen in early June. I'll see if for the next Challenge, she will be able to be with us that weekend and be able to meet all of the Moroso Challenge racers.

I don't think I have much of a choice. She is going to want to see the cars that I own, race down the track. I'll just have to keep my eyes on some of you. Well, not right off the bat, but as she gets older...
That's awesome news man! Wish you and your family the best of times together.
This weekend when I was unloading the car from the trailer. It was funny as all heck. Both the older boys (11 and 6) were there and they like to hold their hand up and tell me which way to go - although its a straight shot down off; I play along and make a big deal out of it for them. Well I had to watch the twins as well - so all 4 of them were out there off to the side a good distance, and the two boys were flaggin which way to go....then the little 1 yr old girl(twin) started to do it also. The little 1yr old boy was more interested in eating grass though. He will come around sooner or later. Cute as all heck all of them participating.
You will have a great time with your new little one. Include them in as much as you can that you do and they will be your little sidekick for many years. I can't go anywhere without at least 2 of them wanting to help out.
Their little hands come in handy as well when trying to reach those tough to get at bolts too!
Congratulations to you and Steph... guess you should put some money aside for a Jr. Dragster for Chelsea... make sure it's fast enough to beat Nitrous Bob in the 1/8th
