My wife took out the Z for her first ever attempt at drag racing. She did pretty well for a first timer. By looking at her third run of a 16 sec 1/4 ( traction controll got her ) what "COULD" the 113 trap have possibly been if all her ducks were in order? Her best was a 12.91 @ 108
With a good chassis and traction, 113 ought to be good for approx a 12.00 to 12.10.
I've seen a few 111-112 MPH trap-speeds on a car running 12-flat, but these were cars with loose converters, gears, slicks, and some-type of chassis-enhancement (traction-bars, at-minimum):
I'd guess a late-model Z06 would be hard-pressed to run those-type ET-figures without lotsa-work, other-than more HP.

Glen my cars BEST mph was 112 at the Division 1 race in Del. and with the set up I was using at "that" time I was running 12.3s in good air.
Since then I have not touched the motor at all.. but I've gone from a 3400 Vigilante to a 2800, also removed the light weight Weld Pro Stars, replaced the mufflers, & changed the rear from 3.73 to 3.45 and now its running 12.6s @ 108 in GOOD air..
But I can honestly say I've never even had the heads off my car... only mods to the motor are 1.6RR and 160 Thermostat, Breathless intake, and an LT4 knock sensor... I think with the old (faster) set up I could have gotten it in the 11's without going into the motor.
Would have been interesting to see if I could have done it... Shoot look at what my car 96 LT1 is running in NHRA Stock class in the 10s! C/SA It used to be C/FIA

In the early-'80s, my Z28 was running 14.40s @ 97 MPH with the original 3.42 gears:
a swap to 4.11s resulted in 14-teens at the same MPH
10 years later, the car was running 13.30s @ 105 MPH with a 10" converter, 4.11s, and 26" tall street-tires:
after going to an 8" converter & 28" tall slicks, the distributor tossed it's weights the first time out (while unloading it from the trailer), so after installing a pair a friend loaned to us, the car instantly began running 12.90s/12.80s @ 105, with a best-of 12.774 @ 109.72 in mine-shaft conditions.
In both instances, the Z28 picked-up several tenths in ET, with no major increase in trap-speed:
it was simply using it's available power more-effeciently in 1320'
Had you gone to an even-looser converter, deeper gears, and taller slicks (to offset the steeper gear-ratio on the top-end), it's possible/probable you could've run much-closer, or even into, the 11s, based-on your 112 trap-speed
