Me and a friend are having a debate, If a car spins for 5ft leaving the line, Would his mph be higher than that of same car not spinning?Ive always heard if you spin it will trap a higher mph.

Spinning on a little will let the car gain MPh faster yes but ET usually suffers. Its not a drastic increase, maybe 1 mph in most cases.
To use a Top Fuel-term, the car might 'get-UP on the tire', and once the car does hook-up, run extremely-well, with a higher trap-speed (probably because the motor gets wound-up earlier/quicker?), but the increased MPH would be marginal, as stated above.

yes, for reasons stated above. And since it usually slows down your 60', it give you more time on the track, which can contribute to the marginal increase in MPH
