Thank you to John T for being my bracket coach for the day. I couldn't have dialed without your help, advice, weather station, etc. You really know your stuff and I thought about what you said all day on sunday at Etown when I was back for SS points.
Thank you to Doug at ECS for finally getting me into 11s and everyone else from Jeannie to JP, Sean, UT and all the names i'm missing for being there for me to offer words of encouragement & advice (sorry corny I know)
On Sunday when I raced in SS, I made it to 2nd round but lost to----A VETTE!!!! The guy I raced had a black vette and said "go easy on me." As soon as he said that, I knew he was going to win, but I tried anyway and ended up breaking out, even though I stepped on the brake. when I saw my time slip, I knew if I didn't step on that brake I would have been faster than the 11.99 from Sat, but......I remembered what John T said--"if you want to get your 'fast' time slip, don't expect to win, if you want to win points and you're racing brackets, you have to step on the brake!" not exact words but...u get the point. go fgure that I lost to a Vette on a non CC points day.
Thanks again everyone and I see you all at the next CC.
