Hi,
Attended Carlisle and made a quick side trip to Beaver Springs Dragway. First time ever on a track. Found it more challenging than expected. I was running on Eagle F1 GS's that can use replacement (if I can find a set). It was hard to hook up. I learned that I really need practice launching and maybe drag radials. Anyway, based on the numbers, do you think this car can make it into the 11's?
IMHO you should be able to crack the the 11's you are making enough power, as evidenced by your respectable MPH I trap 118 in good air W/ BFGDR I've gone 11:90. The best I got W/pilot sports was a 12:00, But you have to get the leave right, get into the throttle W/O blazing the tires. My advice, practice accelerating from a standstill before you go to the track, get used to where the clutch engages and how hard you lean into it to where the tires start to spin, get some seat time when you get to the track the bite will be much better, but it's easier to creep up on tire spin than trying to back out of it. A little bog off the line you can still post a good bnumber ,but spin 'em even if you back out of it right away the ET suffers big time.Just my .$02GOOD LUCK!!
