I'm building a 88 Vette with a 383 in it and i'm wondering what should I do to my 700 R ? I'm going to Bracket Race & drive it on the street. But mostly Race it. One Trans shop guy wanted to know if I wanted to go with a reverse manual valve body? Do I ? What are some of the setups you guys use? Before I go get it rebuilt. THANKS FOR ANY HELP Pipe

Thanks for the reply Pete. I'm not sure about the HP numbers yet but it's a pretty stoudt motor 383 Lunati forged lightweight crank, forged I beam rods, Wiesco Pistons, Milodon steel splayed 4 bolt caps, Brodix track 1 angle plug heads w/full c&c port &polish job topped by a TPIS mini ram and AS &M 58mm TB I'm not sure how high it will rev either. Just tryin to get some idea of what to do. Too bad you don't live in Pa. anymore Pete I could drop the trans off to ya and stop to see Opey at the same time. THANKS FOR THE REPLY Pipe
