Thanks for posting the Shootout Schedule for Bowling Green event, not sure if Jane and I will stay at the Host Hotel or with you at the Hampton - depends on the hotel's pet policy. The plan is to be there Thursday night from SC so start working on Good Weather right now! See ya' in KY!

Bill I am pretty sure you are not staying at the host hotel as I checked earlier and I think they are booked already.
Jay there is no race per say race but there is the race within the race and the extra jackets, plaques and the payout.

So your saying the fastest index car would be concidered the fastest car for the extra payout.
Say you have a 9.7 N/A car, in order to run all out you would need to run in the 9.50 index against power adder cars possibly running 9.5xx, giving up the chance to win the index in order to win the all out for N/A.
Maybe one of the time trials could be for all out runs ? Just a thought. lol

The "fastest" runs/prizes will not count the acutal index race on Sunday. It is the fastest in qualifying/time trials Friday and Saturday that will count for that....the way I understand it.
you index does not matter.
you pick it at the end of the day Satuday anyway.
I can be in the 10.50 index and make a 10.20 run (I wish) and if it is the fast na pass I get the bucks. Now I doubt that will be the case for me but you follow what I mean?

Edgar - Looks like we are at the Drury Inn, next door to the Outback Steakhouse. I believe it has a very nice front porch where they serve drinks - the perfect ending to a hard day at the track. Looking forward to seeing ya' in April.

John,
I hear JPee is willing to consider coming out to the May Shootout and would be in need of a Driver since he can't race west of I-95 or South of I-195 - these restriction are actually listed on his DL. You should give him a call and see what other requirements he might have on flying out for the event.
But you can't argue with his record for putting the right person in the driver's seat.
