I remember that event. The good old JRod vs. Brent battle. I drove my car down to watch and it was then I decided I wanted to mod my car and race.

If that doesnt get all these drag racer guys on here excited about the NMCA race, then nothing will. I only wish I could get the time off to go to BG to race with you guys.

I'm in that video a couple of times...and at the 2:30 mark (and again at 9:19 at the end) you can see my trusty teal/aqua Mustang GT 'vert parked quite majestically on the scene.

I remember going to get some gas for Brent's Z06 at the Citgo up the street with that car.

That event was A LOT of fun, not just the racing but the rides there and back as well as the after track dinners and such.

Who ever did win that contest between J Rod & Brent ? I remember there was something fishly about taking weight out of the car.

Did you win your race? Details PLEASE. I was also very surprised at the number of guys bogging on the line. Are casual racers driving some of these cars?
