Got one pass in
Went to Beach Bend last night and finally got to make a pass launched soft 2000rpm on foot brake, shifted at 7400, and let off alittle early, not know what to expect with a new combination. Well I was surprised, 1.44 60', 10.03et @ 128mph. Not to bad for the first pass. However by the time I got back to my pits it blew out the gasket on the water pump and the temp was up to 240. Hope I didn't hurt anything. Will get it fixed and hopefully head to Beach Bend thursday.
Good thing I'm retired this has become a full time job.

Wow that's pretty damn fast for a brand new combo John, and in the heat no less.

I can see some license passes in your near future. Congradulations on the good pass, hope the temp did not hurt anything on you.

10.0 shutting it off early? Wow!! Super impressive.
I'd imagine single digit passes will be the norm! Like any new combo, it'll take a little time to get it sorted.
Good luck John and be safe.

Great numbers Mack. I'm sure the car is fine. Fix it and let's go racing.

It is a Reher & Morrison 412 crate motor with a powerglide.
