Horsepower Sales of Florida, sponsor of the PBIR Corvette Challenge, will be giving away a FREE STREET TUNE ($250 Value) to one lucky participant at the Corvette Challenge event May 30, 2009, held at Palm Beach International Raceway.
This tune is limited to C5 & C6 Corvettes. For all other Generation Corvette participants you will receive the “drag racing “ instructional package portion ($250 Value). The drawing will be held at the pre-race drivers meeting.

This sounds great! This is what the challenge is all about. Here we have our long time sponsor, Horsepower Sales of Florida, stepping up and adding even more value to the challenge series. Thanks guys!!
Now, this is what I think we should do for our sponsor. I say we reply by adding a minimum 20 Corvette field requirement to the deal before Horsepower Sales of Florida gives out a free tune. This will motivate us all to bring someone new to the event, which it turn shows our appreciation.
Let's all "Challenge" one another to bring someone new to the series on all future events.
Hmmm, maybe we can have an "appreciation" award to anyone that brings someone new to the event.

I can tell you, I have tuned my car on the dyno and on the track, and the track tune is the most important one - it is the REAL WORLD tune! And...for safety sake I have had to back off the parameters on the "Best Dyno Tune" once I got the car on the track and saw what it was doing in the real world. Always best to test the car in the harshest environment it will see...the track.

I will be out there and Steph told me last night that she is really thinking about running her Charger out there this Saturday. I am keeping my fingers crossed that she does.
