Default A4 launch question - newb needs help

I have a basic stock 2000 A4 with CAI, tune, a bigger rear gear. The question is about launching properly.

If I do a break/torque to about 1200 the car "bogs" or hesitates occasionally (seems more common when hot) when i let off the brake and step on the gas. Any idea why?

Sometimes the car begins to "creep" at the at 1200 RPM and other times it holds tight. The brakes, and lines are almost new. Any ideas?

What would be a good release RPM , using drag radials, if the brakes and engine were consistent?

Default when to go !!!

On a sporstman's tree when the second yellow light goes out Smash the throttle from idle and your on yor way with a pretty good reaction time. Two foot it , One on the brake the right slightly on the gas ready to go... The staging / launch and reaction time usally determines the race is over in the first 60 ft
ps Make sure if you start racing in a series ... What type of light they run Sportsman or pro tree.. you look out of place when you smash the throttle on the first yellow of a sportsman tree do that a few times so far

excellent advice. I usually wait until the third light comes on. So you are saying. ... right when the second goes out...

Pump the brakes before loading and that should help with the "creeping"
