Slow Mo Launch Pics
I ran into a friend at Cecil Dragway Saturday. I asked him to take a pic of my launch so I could see what was happening. Turns out his has this trick camera that takes multiple pics. (real quick) On a pro tree he nails the yellows all lit. Notice how the front fender raises up from the front wheel each frame, then the light turns green. This all takes place in about .5 seconds since I cut a .017 light and the tree was full yellow on the first frame (for how long?) Was he dead on with his camera?

Very nice ! Couple questions for you if I could ? I know you are a regular,not familiar with your car specifics ? Auto or stick ? 2-step/trans brake or foot brake launch ? What are your 60s,usually ? Thanks !

-.007 in 2nd round (and I saw the lights)
also had a -.004 in Q's
First two times I ever when red on a pro tree. Finally got the car to go forward, instead of straight up.
From the semi's to the final, I don't think anyone was over 10.010 ET or .020 RT

I have the ECS bolt in powerglide (2 speed) manual shift, w/pro tree trans brake
60's usually - all over the place
When I run detuned in 10.00 index I get 1.48 to 1.52 60'
All out I get 1.38 to 1.42 60'
(Been working on tuning the suspension & the 60's are dropping)
Taking pics at launch are very helpful

I have to say 4DRUSH's car launched beautifully for the pics I took. We were messing around with his Hero camera aswell. Its always good to see you at the track Jay. Always a stand up guy and good guy to have on the ECS team with how methodical he goes about running the car and just how well he does perform with it. The 10.00 bracket was VERY TIGHT that tight. There were a couple cars hitting some near perfect trees and running 10.01's repeatedly. How the hell do you beat something like that??? GEESH!
I didnt realize how cool the shots were till I seen it in your photobucket, I like how you set that up and perfect delay between each shot... very cool indeed!
