high 7,s low 8,s in 1/4. this year once we sort out the IRS we will up the first stage [200-250]and try the second[another 250] hopefully all will work
tyring not to kill it .Last year in GA,we made 18 5.30 on the radials passes[at 2500 feet and 95 degree,s] without anything but bottle changes. dont like to beat up my stuff
I don’t know much about the C5 IRS, however I run a C3 with an IRS.
I have not sprayed it in the ¼ mile in several years and the last time I ran it ¼ mile was on motor. I currently run 1/8 mile only.
3100 pounds, 427 SBC with 23 degree heads, cast intake, single dominator, and single stage fogger.
Best ¼ on motor 3/2008 on MT 28x10.5S:
1.3582-60, 5.9133@119.21-1/8, 9.2490@150.35-1/4
Best ¼ mile on single stage fogger 9/2006 on MT 29.5x9:
1.3061-60, 5.5369@128.24-1/8, 8.5869@161.17-1/4
Best 1/8 mile on single stage fogger 3/2009 on MT 28x10.5S:
1.2890-60, 5.3948@131.54-1/8
I don’t recall the exact number…best 60’ is 1.27.

we had some convertor adjustments to make, so hopefully now thats fixed and we can put some more power to it.
. but if we get the irs done this year we will test with what we know and than go from there hate making to many changes at once,so changing to the irs, is a big enough change for now
shooting for the 4r,s in the 1/8 which is mostly what we run also. But should go mid to high 7,s in the 1/4 we will see the best laid plan,s.

the car "should" be able to go into the 7's on 1 system...
records broken or not, it will be nice to be able to take a c5 vette to stock suspension races and actually have the same style suspension under the car it came with, not a torque arm...(sorry paul, i had to say it..lol..)

I would like to see him either put the IRS back in or move his combination to another style car, just to silence the critics (or at least the ones that actually race the class)!
Good luck with the IRS and keep us updated.
