Back in the 70's I had a bb corvette that ran 7.20's at our local eighth mile track. I'd like to compare those old times to that of a new C6. What should a new 2009 car run in the eighth?? Thanks.
Track prep and air temps will also play a role as well of course.
I was able to squeak into the 7.9s in my LS2 automatic when it was still bone stock so a 2009 (LS3) should be able to (and they have) hit the 7.7s/7.8s quite easily in my opinion.

A guy at the track on Sunday (70 degrees) with a new C6 Auto was dialing in at 7.85. He had the vararam mod though. He ran consistent 7.8-7.9 at 92 MPH. This was on stock tires too.
