Extreme torque
If a little guy in a home garage in Portland Oregon can make this, what are all the big car makers doing in all their giant labs? What have all the Detroit automakers been doing? They don't deserve a bailout!

but this is an enviro-nightmare for the green weenies. 69 batteries?
A few questions I have are:
1. How much energy does it take to recharge that many batteries?
2. What is the usable distance of this vehicle in stop and go traffic?
3. What is the cost to produce a milder/consumer version of this?
Oh.... and my gas eatin', oil roastin' internal combustion would've treed his azz and beat him to the line hard.
