I was just watching Pinks All Out from Bakersfield/Famoso, and they gave the 2010 schedule. Maybe some of these tracks are near you? I might try for one of the remaining spots at Infineon, whenever they get released.

Nice, Maple Grove isn't all too far from here, maybe some of us can make that one.
Thanks for posting the info.

The Agent on Drag Racing Online says Rich Christensen is moving from Iowa to Dallas and will shoot a lot of stuff out at the Cement Palace at Crandall .

That would be Dallas Raceway !

They opened last year with a IHRA Nationals Race but so far the Nat's are not on the scedule for 2010 .
The Agent speculated all the good dates might be already in the Pink Collum !

I have got to get that blower back on the Hot Rod and join in the fun !

Seems 10.8's and low 11's usually get the nod due to the car counts .
And they love a Hot Corvette in the mix too !

Nah Pink Flames on the Arctic White would be too much, I ain't that gung ho or perverted !

Add to that the Scion Drags at Texas Motor Speedway there's
going to be some big fun in the Big D next year !

I hear a new Performance Twin Turbo Mustang will be out soon with 720 HP !
What a time to be a gearhead ! The need for speed can be met in a lot of different flavors !

Crap I hope the Idiot's in DC and the enviornmental weenies don't mess up some of the greatest times for motorsports in General and Drag Racing in Particular !

I'm going to try to make the maple grove race.

And the PBIR too - as a spectator.

I bought a ticket for 2010 Infineon. I also participated Infineon 2008. I say participated be cause my time group was not selected. Probably won't be again, just a chance at that 15 seconds of fame.........

What ? No Vegas this year ? Not being too familiar with the others,I would guess Infineon to be next closest ?

We never get any cool races. I might do the Firebird one or maybe the Infineon. Who knows.

Well if your car is running again,I suppose its time for a rematch huh ? Maybe we can run down to Infineon together, perhaps Chris can meet us there ? It would be rather cool to have several quick C5s together on Pinks ?

I guess so, but take it easy on me. Might be able to work that out.

I'm interested, but it won't be easy. The Infineon race already sold the tickets, but they held 75 to release at a later date. You know they will go fast, because the whole field sold out in like 20 mins for us.

I like to watch pinks (alittle) but I doubt I'd ever try to sign up much less

waste a whole weekend for the outside chance of being picked to compete.

Something about 10K and chance to be on TV, makes it kinda fun. If it's nothing more than hangin out with friends and other racers it's a good time. Besides you're too fast anyway.

I went to the Memphis Pinks and had a great time. 3 days at the track made a total of 7 runs all for $40.00 with a chance at 10k. You can't beat that.

It is unfortunate that ArmDrop Live is done. That was a nice event with good money for several classes.

Pinks is a good time but the lines and waits between your runs sucks. It turns out to be a long weekend.

I agree, but something about lining up with the pressure of 20k fans cheering. Don't think I have ever watched an entire show.

Super Chevy is similar with not quite as many spectators.

I might try my luck again at the Va event. I'll have to de-tune the car to stay "legal" for the track rules though. I'm not putting a full roll cage in the car....

I usually run a little slower at VMP anyway. Plus, being in June, I don't think it will be an issue for me. If you're doing what I think you are doing, yea, some de-tuning will be in the cards.
