???? Must be some kind of a waxer/racer event.

Maybe Dave knows something about it.

Although I get to Atco from time to time, I seem to only wax closer to home... don't know anything about these. Unless you mean a different Dave?

Yes, in the past they have, weather permitting at least.
I know they've been hurt by a combination of rough economy and numerous rain cancellations (just like E-town) so I would think they'd want to cash in on some extra test and tune dates. But maybe it just costs too much to open up with the risk of having too light of a turnout.

If it's anything like last year, no one at Atco knows anything about it... I called twice last year and spoke with two different people. Neither knew what it was supposed to be about...

I went and IIRC I was one of 3 corvettes there... It was just a T&T day.

The people at Atco really need to work on their communication skills.

And it seems like there are a lot of import only events. Perhaps they draw more money/sponsors?

Unfortunately, yes.
I did hear that they might be focusing a little more on Import/Sport Compact type series' for 2010 as it's needed to actually help keep the place alive.
Of course E-town has plenty of those type of events for the same reasons as well.
