Passing along what I have read on numerous sites, the lady was killed instantly and her husband in the wheelchair was hurt...some lugnuts apparently injured some others as well...bad deal all around....

When Greg Anderson completed his first-round run in Sunday's NHRA Arizona Nationals, track announcer Alan Rinehart told him it looked like he drove the Summit Racing Pontiac just fine.
The three-time Pro Stock champion, clearly upset, corrected Rinehart: "No, I didn't get it down there OK. I almost crashed the car." Anderson began his next sentence with "That racetrack --" and the sound coincidentally cut off the public-address system.
