New Best....
I ran my new set up tonight after fixing my alternator belt problem...we put serpentine pulleys on and a serp belt....won't be throwing this anytime soon...
Anyway, on my first pass of the night I went 7.25 @ 93 mph with a 1.51 short time at the 1/8 mile track...my first dead hook with the new motor...
Hopefully she will repeat tomorrow at the Summit Super Series event...
When I got back to the pits after that run I have a voicemail on my cell...it was Steve Stites who is co-promoter of the World Footbrake Challenge held in July at Bristol, Tn.....he informs me I won the last raffle for entry into that event...holy moly!!!!...I won with a $20 ticket....it is a three day event that pays $10,000 to win per day....this is the flyer...
