I recently bought Redgar's 16' open deck Bri-Mar. Like it a lot. It has a weight distribution hitch, which is great since I'm pretty much maxing out my vehicle's towing capacity. I tried towing locally with the regular hitch and it's nowhere near as stable.
I bought mine from the Trailer Outlet in Flanders, NJ: http://www.traileroutlet.com/ -- I have no idea if they have the best prices or best selection, but they had a trailer in stock that workded for me.
I also looked at some other trailers they had in stock and asked them to attach each to my truck so I could drive the car up and see how she fit (wife and I drove both the truck and the Corvette to the place). That helped since some of the cheaper trailers required race ramps or jacking up the front so the nose would clear, others did not have removable fenders and the drivers door would not open, etc. They were pretty easy going about testing each one before I pulled the trigger on an open aluminum model that fit my needs: I have no complaints.
Where are you guys buying your trailers? I need a new one...
Thanks.
econo trailer is cheap and will make the fender lower so you can open your door without having to lift it. You can pick it up at Carlisle to save shipping too.

I actually was told about them a few weeks back, are you sure my door will open, or must I ask for that as a custom design? They have great prices too! Do you know anyone who owns one?
If you have issues with the doors not being able to be opened, because they won't clear the trailer fenderwells, check out our Trailer-Mates: http://www.raceramps.com/trailer-mates.html

You have to request it. Rob P. and Marshall own them. I just bought one. If you buy one just tell the guy you want the same setup I ordered.

Nice, I like these.
Can you mount them permanently to the floor of the trailer?

Well....
Here is an overview: All Race Ramps are made from high density expanded polystyrene, coated with a hybridized polyurea. So they are lightweight, durable, and grippy on the surface they are laid.
Trailer-Mates are intended to be put in place, and the car parked on top. You then chain the car down. No other securement methods are needed for the Trailer-Mates themselves.
It may be difficult to permanently mount the Trailer-Mates. You can't drill through them to utilize a nut/bolt/washer securement, because it will chunk up the expanded polystyrene, and compromise the structural integrity of the ramps. The design didn't include intention to glue them place either. I'm not sure if a glue would create a problem with the hybridized polyurea coating. The coating is impervious to oil, gas, and brake fluid. Don't know the long term (or short term effects) of a glue though. Then removing them would most likely destroy the ramps.
Perhaps brackets could be fabricated that would hold the Trailer-Mates down - without drilling into the Trailer-Mates themselves. Like "L" type bracket that bolt to the floor, and then holds the ramps down at each of their corners.
