Remove front sway bar?

Remove front sway bar?

Finishing up my manual to auto conversion and i've drag raced my 02 C5 tons of times with the front sway bar on but used to have trouble with it spinning for a couple of feet off the line with the 6 speed, i'm not sure if it'll spin still with an auto but if it does, should i remove the front sway bar to help?
I'm assuming the reason to people do this it to help transfer more weight to the back?

I never noticed a difference on the track. On the street, you notice the difference.
