I am just starting to run the drag strip with my 2005. I have added cam, heads, headers and vararam intake. I am running 11.7's in the quarter with 60' around 1.6 - 1.7. The car now has a 3.15 rear end. Want to go with a 3.42 or 3.73 what would be the best to go with ? I also drive the car on weekends and take it to car shows.

I personally would have to recommend going with the 3.73s, you give up a slight amount of fuel economy over the 3.42s (a little more yet over your 3.15s of course) but the gains are worth it in my opinion, especially in a cammed car.
I assume that you're still using the factory/stock torque converter?
If so, swapping that out for a good aftermarket one will net you even the bigger gains in 1/4 mile as long as you're using a drag radial (or slicks). .

Have installed a Yank 3200 and run g-force drag radials
Oh ok, that will help a lot then. You likely still have some more in the car even as it sits right now but the gears will definitely be a worthy addition as well.
