Mr. Wells(Al-Anomymous1) called ME out
Since you called me out in another thread, I figured I'd put it out in the open.
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/drag...t-ls-list.html
So...................
I'll reply again, for all to see.
So, Mr Anonymous1.
When do you propose we race? You called me out... Just cause we arent legal doesnt mean we cant race. What do you propose, we run a 10.00/135 mph race?
Like I said, As long as the Top 16 ECS CC doesnt turn out to be a points day, I'll run ya heads up, . Loser buys lunch. Put up or shut up . Im ready. Are you????? or are you hesitating???
Win or lose, I'll race you, I just wanna race!
Here it is.
My stock LS1 full weight street driven coupe with a small ECS blower versus your NASCAR spec nitrous monster 427 with its custom turbo 400 conversion trailered race car.
Whatcha got to say now......

Is he allowed to spray it during this faceoff?
If so, my money is on him all the way.
Well I wouldn't go that far...while it is a 427 it's still a pump gas motor (NA) with a moderate (but not huge) hydraulic roller cam set up. But yes it does have a TH400 (but still with only 3.42s) and he does choose to trailer it.

Oh I'm pretty sure that I'm at least close on this.
3200-3500 stall (with a nice trans cooler of course), some 2.73 or 3.15 gears (there might even be 2.93s available for our rear that could be perfect), maybe port the intake manifold and throttle body if not already done (no need for a FAST intake), throw on your skinnies along with your new CCW rears and you're running 9.7s (maybe 9.6s? ) at well over 142mph during the next two months.
The one possible negative variable/factor is that A6 trans and whether or not it can truly survive those kind of launches with that kind of power going through it.
The (much needed) roll bar might slow ya back down a tiny bit but that's what smaller pulleys are for.
Add a blower cam and it goes even lower.
