Thanks...I think......

Looks like you were out front when we went by the camera, due to your better light. I still didn't quite catch you by then, even thought I had a better 60'.

I brought the N2O in about 1.4 seconds into the run and then ramped it in from there...looks like I didn't pass you until the full 200 was flowing.

What a great race.

Get a torque converter, some 17" drag radials (your 18s might work too), throw on your skinnies (oh and a roll bar ) and you'll likely do it in this air.

Yes, a nice clean race for once, Doug was talking about that at the track.

Some great shots in here.
Our race is towards to end, like in the 400's

Thanks again Dave & Vivian.

.500. We were both shallow, I only footbrake, and he doesnt use his transbrake. I believe that was his first time going with a 200 shot also...

I believe it was as well ...and also, his nitrous isn't set up to hit right at the starting line, it doesn't come on until he's almost past the sixty foot mark and even then it ramps in progressively.
I'm curious how it would run if he were to bring it in sooner (and quicker) and had the traction needed to support it as well.
The car's been 10.3x and 134mph NA (deep staged and not in great air) so even a 100 shot on for the entire pass should really give it a nice kick.

Marc is correct on all count as well.
Traction was marginal for me and I knew it was going to be, coming into the race.
My new tires hadn't arrived yet.

If I could shoot 150 right out of the gate at 100% it would be close.
But I can only shoot that on the air bridge and that is kind of big for a single nozzle before the throttle blade.
(poor distribution)
My air bridge only has a 100 shot in it and a little birdie told me that wouldn't be enough.

The smallest I can shoot the Direct Port is 175.
I already had it jetted for the 200, so I just left it as is.

With only old Good Year Drag Radials or worn out MT ET Streets to choose from, I figured I would just delay the hit and ramp it in slowly.

I had not shot the car with the 200 shot yet, so I didn't know what to expect?

If I was smart, I would have taken my car to a track rental first, before I ran my mouth.

I consider myself blessed to pull off that win considering the circumstances.
