I started to think of this a few minutes ago all these cars running these great times when at a track rental day.How much do these so called prepped tracks help their times.A car for instance running 11.2 all stock on a prepped track what would that same car run on a regular track day.I am just curious as i am pretty sure it helps quite a bit .
Don't forget about the lack of a line or waiting time between passes...so they can hit the track at the right temps without running hot sitting in line for an hour between passes. But prep makes all the difference in the world, coupled with good DA's and no heat-soak time.

SOOOO many variables, including driver, but street nights have track prep.....at least before the first car runs! lol
They don't usually prep it AS well as for a rental. Rentals we usually have them prep the ENTIRE lane.
NEVER happen for a street night, because they know the street tires will tear up the sticky stuff FAST.
Also, track prep varies from track to track.
As mentioned by lane_change, nothing beats prep at a rental with NO waiting in the lanes to stage...NOTHING!
There is no rule of thumb like deduct .XX off your ET if it would have been a rental...
It depends, are we on street tires, radials or slicks? Also on a track rental day chances are kids are leaking fluids all over the track like water from their AC and oil. Those make tracks very slick!
