Idex class lane choice?

15. Races are run on a .500 pro tree with a 8 car qualified field on a sportsman ladder, 1 vs. 5, 2 vs. 6, 3 vs. 7 and 4 vs. 8. Lane choice goes to the quicker car from the previous round or higher qualified car in the first round
Now we know!

I usually ask the person I'm racing, as I did when we lined up. If the person I'm racing qualified better wants the same lane, then I give it to them. I always want the left lane just because the crowd likes to see my car
Just makes sense the better seed gets lane choice, just like the pros. Besides, you getting the left lane is the real reason you beat me

I won because you past me at the the 1/8 going 15 mph faster
. Dam you were moving!! That hair dryer makes some power!
If someone gets bad feelings over this stuff then they have bigger problems. Don't get me wrong, I'm just as competitive as the next guy, but the bottom line is the better seed/better previous round car gets lane choice just like the pros. I wasn't joking about always asking for the left lane. There is no rhyme or reason, I just like that side and always have. It has nothing to do track prep or anything since I leave soft anyway. But when it comes down to it, I dont care either way. With that being said, IF I was in the left lane, I would have cut a much better light, and ran dead on so you got lucky
You're definitely going to be tough to beat this year, but next time if one round you're going to have the best reaction time of the day, and the next youre going to red-light, do the ladder and not the former against me. Thank you.
