Weight of Mickey Thompson 315/35/17's
Here are my M/T 315/35/17's on c5 Z06 Speedline fronts. 48.4 lbs.
These tires are about done. I'll weigh my new ones when I get them.
For reference here are my 345/30/19's on repro c6 z06 rears. 67.6 lbs. You can sure feel the difference when changing them!

That is about the weight of most drag radials. Mine came in at 46.5lbs. I had a pair of CCW's and the rear were the same weight as stock 17's. The front skinny's saved 2lbs. The front skinny's would save more on the rolling resistance.

Hey Joe, could you post some more pics of the 315's on the 17x9.5 fronts ?? I've always wonder about the sidewall bulge on that width rim. Any wear issues with that rim size ??
The 315 Hoosiers weight 26lbs and the Mickeys 31lbs, I weighted my fronts a while back with no tires iirc they were 19lbs.
Have you made any back to back passes to see the performance difference weight makes between the two setups in the original post ??
Thanks...

Here is a pic of the bulge. I think it minimal.
But remember I'm old and I'm used to putting g60's on 8" rims!
I haven't had any trouble with these, and for years prior I ran 275's on 8.5" standard C5 fronts.
I've never ran the Hoosiers but my friends have and they stick like glue but wear out quickly and cannot be driven on the street if there isany chance of rain since they have no siping.
