Price: $209.99
geez REDGAR !!! I see your link has that helmet for $179.95..... but Xsmall only. :) MJ
Like I said, you need three pieces of information for hemlet rating
If they told you Snell 90 and no motorcycle then that would me you need a Snell SA 90 or better.
That is odd though. Have you rented a helmet there? If you do, look at the rating. I would bet they do not rent $200 helmets for a few measley bucks, but I could be wrong.
I buy a lot of helmets from Helmet City. They have good service and are prompt at getting your goods out fast. Jegs is also a good source. Whatever the case, buy a good helmet and not some cheapie. I nearly lost a friend a week ago. He suffered some bruising to the brain from a freak accident where he took a very blunt blow on the helmet area above his eyes. He was wearing a top of the line Shoei VFX-r helmet and still got injured. If he had been wearing anything less, the doctors claim that he would have been a fatality statistic. He spent 3 days in ICU and 3 days in the medical ward. He is now walking and talking normal a week later. He is home and taking a few days off from work. A good brain bucket is very cheap insurance. And if you value your brain like I do, you will not skimp on a helmet. I drive race cars professionally and consider them as tools of the trade. And if you take good care of that helmet, it will last atleast until the next set of major specifications come out in a few years.
