Where can I find a published list of recognized C5 records?
There seems to be a lot of, "I hold the record for fastest 2003 Z06 with 402 cubes, an xyz transmission, AFR heads, red seats and fuzzy dice" type records.
I'd like to see a real list where the cars are handicapped into recognized classes (tire, engine size, etc). Does this exist?
I am officially claiming the "fastest/quickest rear-mount turbo C5 Z06 with a 4L60 that has a/c and a 5 point rollbar on drag radials."
I would start with the "Fast List" in the C5 performance results section, but that list has a good amount of missing cars on it. There also have been a good amount of "Fast Lists" posted up over on ls1tech.
Looking through the FI list there are very few cars running stock cubes.
The quickest on that list is Sonnie's car ('uniquec5' running a 9.2) but as far as I know the quickest stock cube FI C5 would've been Jay's (4DRUSH) car at an 8.7 back before he went to an LS2 block (currently a best of 8.4).
Also not on that list is PaulZ's old twin turbo car with a solid axle conversion, he too was still running stock cubes and also got it down to an 8.4.
Lets also not forget Dave Harris, not on that list which I think he went 9.2/9.3 with a 346 and since has gone 9.1? with his new setup. Like I said, a lot of cars missing from that list. Another big notable missing is RobZ with either of his setups. His stock bottom H/C record which will probably be not broken for a long time, if ever and his current 388 N/A record which also may not be broken for a long time if ever, except by him of course lol.

Actually both of Rob's stellar results are in fact included on the C5 Z06 lists.
You coming for me Marshall?! 9.56 at 151.68 so far....I think that may change in the fall
next year sometime gathering parts now.. right now ill enjoy the 382 since i just about got it figured out for the 10.5 index in the cold and hot weather. turn up the boost and make it hard to beat but most of all be safe about it a record is not nearly a important as life..i think you might get real close to 160mph or more and for sure thats the mph id like to obtain with the new set up.

I don't know if I'd mess with it Marshall, you got that thing so well dialed in now (both off and on the bottle) which is not always easy to do with a nitrous car. Tommy and I were talkin' about it on Wednesday and we both agreed that sometimes when you mess with a great set up (in an attempt to go faster) it doesn't always work out quite as planned. Plus the costs involved in taking a high 9 second car down to the low 9s/high 8s goes up astronomically.

Oh yeah, Russ (and you) definitely has a lower ET and higher MPH in his future with that car if he wants it.

thanks mark car is dialed pretty good now and will run it in 2012 10.5 also. but will go with a turbo in 2013. gives me plenty of time to spread out the expense by waiting extra year sorta of want to go a bit faster
Have you ever submitted any of your track times in any of this board's C5 Performance sections?

Yes it is different, that particular list is simply any/all NA Corvettes.
The lists mentioned above are 'C5 specific' and require a (proper) submission, it doesn't just happen automatically.

Oh I thought the C5 list included everything since it has Z06 categories. He should be listed on the new one.

Unless he plans on making the car a full blown race car !!
But Greg ..does
First, Greg doesn't qualify for the record I own. Second, Greg will still be too slow.

Maybe you weren't fast enough? Or maybe since you never show up at the track anymore, youve already been forgotten? J/K Steve, hope to see you back at the track soon
