Default SAFETY:Harness Question

Deciding on Harness to order from Summit , Question is: Should i go with single or dual point mount at roll bar for shoulder straps?
'06/C6 with factory seats..Thank's for any input.

Without seeing your set up I would say dual point.

Attaching it to the roll bar is the easy part. You'll most likely attach the waist bans using the stock seat belt bolts. If I remember correctly you have to bend those tabs a little & drill them out?
Also technically you should have a slot in your seat, because the crouch belt has to be fastened to the floor behind your crouch & come straight up.
You really should add another piece of plate steel underneath from outer frame to inner frame for the crouch strap fastener. (the floor is just thin sandwiched wood) At least use a big fender washer.

I kind of lean toward RCI Platinum if you haven't decided on a brand yet...you get 4 years out of them for the same price as 2 years with the others...

Most aftermarket racing seats have that slot. Not saying you need it, just saying how it should be.
