Looking for a C5 diff case
Just wondering if anyone has a C5 3-rib diff case they're interested in selling? If it's full of gears, that's fine as long as they're not 2.73
I kinda need a new one...
BTW, I not gonna make the next challenge race.

Thats a steal, very fairly priced with the hardend shaft too Paul.
Of course he probably needs 4.10's though, but isnt that just one of lifes kick in the nuts.

I do appreciate the offer, Paul. I'll certainly keep it in mind. I'm really just looking for a case at this point.
Doug, just want to verify with you that a 2.73 case will not work, correct?

Yes but no.. You can use a 2.73 case with a spacer, but I do not agree with it, especially for a raced vehicle.
I would stick with a 3 series carrier if i were you.

I have the 2.73 case and considered 3.15s or 3.42s with the spacer. I'll wait do it with a 3 series case.

Ours is actually a different case Artie, the 2.56s and 2.73s in a 2006 and up C6 is not quite the same as that of a C5's 2.73 or even 3.15 case (or even a 2005 C6's case).
Yours (similar to mine) is quite strong actually and can accept the 3.15s or 3.42s specified for it without upgrading too much else (maybe a hardened output shaft wouldn't hurt).
Or at least I think so LOL.

On second thought... My buddy told me he might want your 3.73.
He has a 3.42...
See where I'm going with this?
Now I just need to get Doug to find time to put my carrier in the 3.42 case from my buddy...
I'll be in touch.
