I would like to get some drag radials for my '00 C5 (currently 407rwhp) because launching it I can't hook up no matter what I try. I was wondering at what HP level that the stock C5 diff would start complaining with drag radials. Car is a 6spd manual with stock 3:42's. The tires I am looking at are M/T ET street 275/40 R17.
I have some #25 275 40 17's m/t on chrome corvette wagon wheels 3 passes 3+ of 4/32's new remaining, last time shipping was over $100, $475 to you shipped, by the time they get to you I'll have $575 in em pm if interested
If your not driving to the track on your race tires & plan on changing them out at the track than I would get the ET street bias tire but make sure you run bias tires up front also. Don't run radials up front with bias out back. Its okay the other way around though. Get a set of gto spares with spacers & M&H bias skinnies for the front.

Reason: add on
I was planning on getting GTO spares eventually, just have other things on the list beforehand (clutch, diff.trans) before unless I can find an amazing deal.
I have to do the clutch before anything because sunday it was slipping at the top of 3rd/4th on the first 2 passes and at the top of 2-4 on the 3rd pass. Going to put a Monster 12" 850 hp/tq with AL flywheel and Tick Performance clutch master/slave.
