Whooooooaaaaaaa hold on there a second, pal. No Tears No Excuses is a Paul_Z06 trademark. I may have to levy a penalty for an unauthorized use of this phrase.
Hmmm. I'm not seeing it in the trademark database:
Done. Atco opens in 2 weeks. No tears, no excuses.

That's the very first thing that I'd thought of when Marc (not me, the other Marc with a 'C' LOL) posted that above. It really would be some coincidence if he actually did not know that that same phrase was also used as the name for an (awesome) event that Paul helped put together roughly 6+ years ago.
Yes, as you know E-town's tech can be quite strict (as it should be).
You can still enter the Pro 10.50 index without a proper roll bar and (current date) harness, but you might have to write 11.50 on the glass and then be invited to go home after your first sub 11.50 pass LOL.
No roll bar = no 10.50 trophies.
Also need a helmet that's labeled as (that label is critical too) at least a Snell M2005 (or SA2005) as well.
But even without the bar/harness there's always the Pro 11.50 index and even the CC brackets (and the GM EFI series), if you can even handle that crowd that is.
So why does jpee get to race with a Snell 1905 rating?!
My Helmut Does Not Have a Date On It .. it's made of leather.. ya know like the old football helmuts...
& the track "Grandfathered" my Helmut in..because I had it BEFORE there was any rule that helmets were required... see I'm a "TREND" setter as I was one of the FIRST racers to ever wear one ! So there...!!
Car is looking good Paul. It will be good to see you back at the track again racing!
Been hanging in there - this economy has taken its toll. Back at work but not close to where I was. Can't complain as I know too many that are still looking for work.

Thanks man. I wonder if I'm going to whistle the Jeopardy tune as I'm going down the track 2 seconds slower than I used to?
Yeah, this industry got decimated. I still watch CNBC almost every morning and I can't believe that there are virtually no traders on the floor of the NYSE any more. Definitely count your blessings that you're working. I know a couple of very smart guys that had to take server jobs to make ends meet. Not that I foresaw this coming but I'm glad I left Wall St. when I did. I quit in 2005 right before the chit hit the fan. Not that running your own company is a walk in the park but at least I no longer have to worry about getting canned by some douche bag who can't tell the difference between preferred stock and livestock.
its when you've had to many drinks and you roll out of the bar
Thanks for the explanation.

Does the eight second club imply that you can consume a beer in eight seconds?

At least they still get paid bonuses from taxpayer dollars.

I thought you used a coconut shell with a piece of rope for a chin strap? As for me, my Two Guys $9.95 blue metalflake helmet will do the job. (remember those? )
