2012 Etown points update
If all goes well, tonight Edgar will be posting the 2012 Etown points structure (which I can't seem to get copied) and I'm sure most people will be happy with it. We have a "first time" option that should work to the advantage of you racers..hope you like it, remember we are the only series at Etown to have this option. .

Raceway Park is going forward with unifying points for all classes of racing.
For Brackets, we have always followed standard points. For Index we have been different and will be adopting the standard points.
However, we will still be different than the non Corvette classes at RP as the three CC classes will be adopting a "drop two races method"

The synopsis
- 10 points races (no warmup this year and this is confirmed)
- All classes racers will drop your worst two races, including zeros (no shows), or otherwise said best 8 of 10 races will count for points standings and will be adjusted at the end of the season by Raceway Park. Please read the detailed explanation by Raceway Park
- Now points awarded for brackets, no change, except we will only send one racer to the bracket finals, not two.
- Index classes, our point system is replaced by the bracket style points system, one point to stage, one point for a win. For qualifying, only #1 qualifier will get a point..all other qualifiers, no qualifying points. No bonus for qualifying #1 and winning.

Also, index racers, please note that you will now get a point for signing up before first round of the first race so get it done if you have not.

Ralph, jpee asked the same thing. Can you guys tell me which part is confusing on that so I can clean it up?
All classes same points system except only index get a point for qualifying #1

Here is where i got confused Biggy:
