This may be a stupid question, but, can anyone tell me: at the 1/4 mile mark, how many car lengths does a time advantage of 0.1 sec translate into?

A 16' car traveling at 110mph arriving 0.1sec quicker at the traps would have a 1 car-length lead, assuming no top end play.

In our speed range 1 tenth is one car length. As you get faster 1 tenth is more than a car (say running in the 9's at 140)
