IHRA Nationals at MIR
My Corvette Memphis friend Dan and his partner campaign a car in IHRA sanctioned races and qualified for the IHRA Nationals held at Memphis International Raceway this weekend.
I went to MIR today to cheer for Dan and check out the other racers. Dan made it to the finals in his class with his Corvette, but got beat in the finals when his transmission got hot and blew the high gear clutch pack.
His dial-in was 7.23 and he ran a 7.236 in the semi-final.
He missed out on the top prize money, but did get something like $3K, I think.
