I was entered in the 13.00 classes and though I did pull off a nice 13.01 earlier in practice/qualifying, I kind of dropped the ball in True Street. Went a few rounds in LSx Rumble/Index but got beaten by the very same guy that went on to win the whole thing.
Had fun though. .

I was driving a borrowed car in EFI. It was a 2009 CTS V with a 6 speed (manual). First round I was ready to run. I am running a 12.00 car so I figured I had a 1 second head start. WRONG!!!! I leave thinking I hit the tree good, the other guy was right there. In my head I am thinking my original plan is out, new plan is to power shift at 6,000rpm's. I was going to shift at 5,300. I look up at the 1/8th and I see why he was ahead of me now. The board had me in the 12.50 class. I was .049 to the his .132. I went 12.87 to his 12.10. Uggggg
In the LSX I lost in the semi finals at 4:30am. I slid across the finish line to tighten up the gap. I went 11.999 on a 12.00 index. The guy I was racing was a 10.00 car that ran 10.21 all out. Uggg again
Good news is that I am the World Champion in the LSX Index Rumble.
