I was going to run the X275 Class but john Sears knows nothing about how a corvette works. Trying to get answer from the guy and listening to all the bull over on yellowbullet about the class, I decided Its just not worth the stress or time.
With that being said, some one said to be a while ago (go big or go home) and I've been home way to long!!!!

I was reading that thread on the bullet and I just don't get it. You can basically do what you want to the holy grail of X275 cars (mustang) but corvettes has to have stock springs? Makes no sense.
Good luck with your sale of this and your build. I look forward to seeing your car back out on the track.

Hey Mr uniquec5 hold the phone..........there is some interest in a X275 LS series. Here is the discussion........http://www.yellowbullet.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=513741
Its a long shot but if everyone was on the ball and got organized it "could" happen. You should give your $.02 to the discussion......
Good luck with which ever you choose.
Thanks...............

I dont think that will be an issue running in this class if I read it correctly. But with this class they are not running the f1x just like the x275. My old set up would of been perfect for it. Plus this might not even happen. I have a solid game plan for this year..

If I understand correctly, a straight axle conversion is not the problem, it's coil overs with no leaf spring?
As long as there's a leaf spring on the car, it should be ok?
John should really allow the C5/C6 to run in the class. It certainly won't hurt the class, just help.

Notice how they will not let my tq arm in, then they changed the rules so ANY leaf spring suspension will work but as soon as Joe askes about his car which has a leaf spring and IRS. They wont let him run because if his coil overs. This class is just a big mess. To much drama for me. Seems like they dont want any corvettes racing in there class.

Yeh, they're allowing set ups that clearly don't work in a C5/C6 and not allowing anything that does work in them. Makes you think they just don't want you guys to race with them.
It sucks for guys like you, Joe, Fran, and the guy from SC that have the drive to build something to compete. While you guys might not run .50s, you'll certainly get it figured out and be competitive.
