Default Looking for some advise....

Running a 402 LS2 with 410 rwhp/rwtq thru my T56 with Monster clutch (still need to replace the heads/intake/throttle body since I am running triangle casting Ls6 heads/LS1 intake/LS1 throttle body). I have been using my street tires (285/35 R19 BFG KDW II's) and these are my last 3 passes:

Reaction.... .8971
60'.............2.0467
330'...........5.4021
660'...........8.1987
660’ mph.....88.88
1320'..........12.4938
1320’ mph….117.28

Reaction... .9648
60'.............2.4318
330'...........6.0493
660'...........8.7621
660’ mph.....91.56
1320'..........12.9857
1320’ mph…..117.4

Reaction.....1.2783
60'.............2.2501
330'...........5.756
660'...........8.6556
660’ mph.....83.26
1320'..........13.0926
1320’ mph….113.55

All runs were at the Fayetteville Motorsports Park in Fayetteville, NC with the temps in the 70's if I recall correctly.

I also noticed after getting home that my air filter was dirty as hell as well as my MAF.

Traction has been an issue, and I have a set of MT ET Streets 26X11.50-17LT coming. I went with those to absorb some of the shock to provide a little cushion for the drive line. They should take care of my traction problems. I am also getting a shift light for more consistency. My question is, will I be able to get to break into the 11's or will I need more power. I know I need more practice, but going to the track with my street tires was killing my wallet.

This summer I plan on upgrading to a LS6 intake, ECS trans/diff brace, and the HSC diff mount because I have been having drive train shake.

EDIT: I just re-read your post as see you are a stick shift car...so it will be a little tougher for you to be consistent on your launch.. but just practice as much as possible...

By looking at your MPH (117) the exact same as mine you should be able to get into the 11's... Here is the difference..

Your 60' times are about

2.4

2.5

2.0x

My 60' are 1.63 that alone is almost or close to 1 full sec. I think once you get the Drag Radials you will be very close to the 11s... Are you stick or Automatic ?

I am an automatic (A4) and have had some work done to it, I (think) if you were automatic it would be a lot easier for you to get into the 11's

A manual car takes a "LOT" of practice to make a good run, and to get a good 60' time....

First thing I'd do is get the DR's and if you are stick/manual start going to the track and practicing your launch.. don't worry about reaction times as the clock does not start until your car moves forward about 6"

Good luck & keep us posted...
