Hey Guys. I did the intro thing on the main board but thought I would do the same here since this is where I will spend the majority of my posting time.

My name is Dan & I am a former Chassis Builder and a life-long Drag Racer. I currently have a '80 Corvette that I am just finishing up back-halving for my youngest Son, and I have a newly acquired '63 that is an old racecar. I'm looking forward to being here. I'm going to try to post a couple pix but not real sure I can...here goes

Welcome! This section seems a little slow lately, but, guys like you are emphatically welcome here. Where are you located? Where do you race?

Thanks for the welcome. I'm in N.E. Alabama about 50 miles below Chattanooga, Tennessee. I am fortunate in that there are 4 tracks within a 50 mile radius from where I live...one just 7 miles from me. I'm not as "dedicated" to racing as I used to be but I really enjoy Cruise-Ins & I'm going to try to make a few Nostalgia type races this year if I can get the '63 ready in time.

Nice ride. Back half looks stout. You plan to keep it in s/g?

Thanks. The S/G marking is just some leftover stuff I haven't gotten around to removing. I really like the pro-tree heads-up index racing though.
