Just need to weld the hitch plate to your trailer (Capt. Huff did mine). Plenty of power and the winch can be easily removed from the trailer when not in use. Only thing I don't like is power out only.
Thanks guys, wow I decided to further research my options and found that there are a number of choices to pick from. Purchasing a winch pretty much is like purchasing insurance in the event something happens and you're covered. In this case having the ability to get the car up on the trailer for that dreaded day something happens at the track. I know that after I purchase it, I probally will never use it, nevertheless guess I need to be ready. I have searched Jegs and Summit as well, saw the Superwinch and a few others. Will make a decision soon. There other considerations to think about when mounting these are as well, do I enclosed it in a box? Etc...I did a search also to see how people have mounted theirs but did not see to many threads on this. See you guys at etown soon
I used to drive my car up on the trailer, just bought a new trailer, I now winch my Z06 up in the trailer every time, so easy!!, you'll never go back once you start!!!before I used to climb out the sunroof, don't have one now, and don't need to squeeze on the side, I just hook the hook on the winch, and let the winch pull it up in!!! really couldn't be easier....good luck. You will be amazed, and to think I had a winch on my last trailer for 3 years and never used it once!!!!
