My expectations vs actual???
So, as a little background my car is intake(vararam)/headers/ported TB/E85 tuned. On a Dynodynamics it put down 430/447. Tuned seemed good, we did data logging after the initial tune and it appeared to love the E85 and duty cycle was 84% IIRC..
I went to the track last night, expecting to dip into the 11's at 120-123.. I'm trying to figure out if my expectations were a little aggressive, if the weather held back my car from a little better time, or there's something going on with the car I don't see...
Based one what I can see from yesterday's weather history my best pass which I will post was around 85-90 degrees outside with the humidity around 60%-70%..
I'm on the left, these were run on stock street tires... thoughts?

I have never really tried launching my car on the runflats, seeing how I can break them free in 1st and second by just punching it from a roll... But I would imagine the heat yesterday played a BIG roll in the lower numbers. The last time I ran my s2k at the track, I was talking with a couple vette owners and we all had low ET's in 90 deg weather. They were both running mid to upper 12's at TriState.. (one was a c5 with heads and cam and the other was a c6 with bolt ons). I put down a mid 13 with 300rwhp. The real measure of your expectations vs actual would prolly be in the 70s to low 80s temps. I really think that with your power, you should be in the 11s

You will probably never reach that goal on street tires...too much power...119 mph is low 11's range if you hook...I have run 11.20 at 119 mph, however, my 60' time was 1.50...you are obviously making the power but not planting it efficiently to the ground...most likely never will on street tires...

I'm only making 397 RWHP and have run a best of 11.59x @ 118 mph BUT that was in "NJ" Killer Air in March" in the heat of July/Aug I'm running 11.7xx and in Real Bad Air 3500' I ran 11.9xx @ 115 mph
The trap speed is good enough for a high 11. (11.7-11.8 since you are a stick.) It appears that with your HP, you should be deep into the 11s provided that you get tour 60' down and trap around the expected 122-123 mph. On a well prepped track with the correct launch technique, those OEM run-flats can produce 1.8 60's.
Traction will affect trap speed as well as driving technique. DRs will definitely help.
The main reason I was hung up on the MPH I felt like something might have been going on in the background of the car that I can't see. Weird gas, knock.. something. But my tuner is going to be there this Wednesday and we're going to datalog and tweak some things and see what happens.
I appreciate everyone's input.
I bet the heat and humidity trimmed at least 4mph from your trap. You will like it when it cools down.
I would think your dyno guy could change the correction numbers to the weather you ran in and predict the results pretty close.
