Big Mac on this forum races his supercharged C5....the most unique bracket racer I've seen is ZR1John on this forum...he races his ZR1 which he put a 4L80E into and drives to the track...
great........what should you do to your stock base model automatic c6 to make it the most consistant and keep it together (not break it).....( remember i am talking about bracket racing so i am looking at consistancy not speed.) thanks
I've been racing my C5 auto since it was new, I've won the NHRA Summit Racing Series Division 2 with it in 2003. The car is very consistent with very little done to it. Just changed the thermostat and air filter to K & N.. Drag radials made the car even better, no chance of wheel spin at all. The car doesn't owe me a dime, I've made a pretty good amount of money with the C5 racing it.

Thanks for the nod from Fuzzy Dice. See signature for description of my C5. I am in the process of having a C6 GS built that should go 9's.
I installed the 190 degree thermostat and the tires are Nitto drag radial that fit the 18" stock Corvette rims. I deep stage the car and it will run in cool weather low 13 and in really hot and humid it will go 13.40's. The best it has gone was 12.86 shallow stage on a cool day. The MPH is usually 105 to 108 depending on the weather of course.
