did humidity do it again?
Just had the vette dyno'd last sat. with alittle tweeking (added fuel above 5200rpm) got 410RWTQ, 416RWHP (thats 20-25 more peak HP than I started with) :) was pretty happy and expected to see a gain at the strip tonight (test and tune night).
my previous best was 12.367 @ 115.5mph
first run today was 12.608 @ 114.73mph :(
I'd heard that dyno run's are normally richer than whats needed in the real world, so I turned down the FP slightly.
next run was slower still 12.639 @ 114.64
ouch, sooo I turn up the FP, 12.380 @ 114.89
little more FP 12.358 @ 115.48, well at least I'm back where I was.
what puzzles me is the fact that I only added fuel in the upper RPM's on the dyno, nothing was changed below 5200rpm. now it needed more FP to run the same MPH.???? man thats weird.
And as the title hints I went to the track right after a brief rain (scattered thunderstorms in the area) temp's were upper 70's humidity was 90% (but it didn't feel like it) barometer was 29.something.
sky cleared up while there. I dunno maybe the weather got me.
on a better note, I did have a good race against a firebird (LS1 with some nitrous) he jumped the light big time (.115 RT) and I followed suit (.492 RT), pretty much side by side to the top of 3rd gear then pulled him to the finish. he ran a 12.829 @ 113mph to my 12.358 @ 115.48mph, I won by .0945. much more interesting than 15 second cars that are usaully beside me.

ps: I did find that one of the new bosch plugs I'd put in (before dynoing) must be bad, It was arcing around the ceramic.

Richmond 6spd, but I'm doing better on the 60' time, had three 1.8's, one 1.9 and one 2.0
but I had red light fever, 4 outta 5 runs.
sorta like golf, somedays the R/T is .6 others .4, but rarely in the middle of the two

I dyno'd 360 RWHP, get the idea. ;)

Mackeyred, how are you running 120mph trap speeds with 360rwhp? you must be making some killer torque.
