Early October we held the Texas Invitational near Dallas. It was a milestone event as we close out 2015 with the 5th year of the event. For those unfamiliar with the event, this is competition from a moving speed of about 65mph. Two lanes, straight line acceleration for about 1,400-1,800 feet, independently operated lighting system to trigger the start, speed traps for each lane, and win lights for each lane. We had some strong Corvettes out there from the community - Lethal Performance and D3 Performance Engineering - both came out with powerglide/TH400 equipped monsters that were trapping 180+.
