Most of us don't powerbrake. You just bring the RPM up a few hundred off idle and flash the converter.
If I try to bring mine up to stall it turnes the launch into a burnout.
Powerbraking works great on some converters, and poorly on others. With the stock converter it won't help you at all. Your better off flashing it from idle. But with my Yank, I get better results powerbraking it.
