Powerbraking?
Ok, I just did it for the first time yesterday. I was amazed at how easy it was :eek: .
My questions are:
1) For dragracing how long do you do it for the best results?
2) Does it have any bad effects on the car (besides the loss of tire material)?
3) What type of road should I not do it on? (concrete, ashphalt, etc)

Most of us don't powerbrake. You just bring the RPM up a few hundred off idle and flash the converter.
If I try to bring mine up to stall it turnes the launch into a burnout.

Powerbraking works great on some converters, and poorly on others. With the stock converter it won't help you at all. Your better off flashing it from idle. But with my Yank, I get better results powerbraking it.

Ok im confused. what is flashing the converter? :confused:
i know what the conver is, but i dont know how to flash it. (cant you get arrested for that? :lol: )
