Okay so the LSX454R is 20k I do not have. But I was wondering if I could buy an old truck motor (454/402) and rebuild it and use LS parts on it like intake, fuel injection, heads, cam, everything off the LS motor platform and use it on the old big block motor. Im new to chevy builds figured it would be something different. I would end up putting it in a C5 I want to retain all the stuff in it Like the hud and stuff.

LS and MK IV big block won't share components. About the only thing in common is you can get either in 454 CID
