Default 11.430 but want to go quicker!

As the title states I took my car to the local strip this weekend and ran an 11.430. Think I can do better but don't know what I need to do to get there. My car is a 2012 GS A6 with a Procharger making right at 600 RWHP. Running 17" Hoosier DR2. It hooks really well and doesn't seem to spin too much but also feel it should launch harder. I did a burnout in 2nd gear to heat the tires up and left in S mode with traction control off. I did shift back into D than back to S before launching which I think should let me start in 1st gear? My 60 foot time seems slow? It does come on really strong on the top end but was expecting more of an aggressive launch. I'm the right lane. Any advice would be appreciated.

Stock stall. Was thinking that should be my next upgrade. Which brand? What RPM? Have been looking at Yank PAS series in 3400 or 3600. I still want to be able to go cruising and not kill the drivability.

Nothing wrong with Yank....or Vigilante/PI...or Circle D...or FTI...

Call them each and see what they recommend as far as converter and stall speed. Dont really think you need a triple disc, there wont be much benefit at your HP level to lock up while running the 1/4.

Im also not sure how much HP the 6L80 will hold.

Thanks, don't really want to add any more HP at this point. Feel like anymore and I will start breaking parts. I will give them a call.

BTW, I am running a 3200 Vigilante w/ about 650 rwhp in a 4l60e. Only had it on for a month or so, but driveability is fine.

The PAS 3400 was what was recommended to me by Dave at Yank.

Were you at Kearney Saturday with the silver ZO6? If so; you have a good looking car!

I was there making my licensing passes. I had the purple 73 vette.

You might call Hoosier and the tire tech will advise you at what tire psi range to data log for best results launching. They are very helpful.

Did you notice your 60ft is the same as the 13 second car in the lane next too you? lol. It's great that your car hooks up, but there is lots of room for improvement there.

At 127 MPH, your car is capable of short times in the low 1.4x range which would put your ET at around 10.80. As others have stated, a stall converter will get you there, but then you need the appropriate tire to get the power to the ground.

I have no doubt its my 60 foot times that are killing me. I am not happy with them. I don't think my tires are the issue, I didn't feel like I was spinning or breaking the tires loose. My street tires (MPSS) I can break loose by barely touching the throttle the Hoosiers didn't do that. I totally agree I need a stall (and a heck of a lot more practice). I am a little concerned about drivability with a stall but it seems those that have them have no issues. When it comes to drag racing I am as green as you can get and appreciate all the advice I can get.

That's what he recommended for me also. Strongly leaning in that direction.
