C5 eater goes hungry
I pulled into line to wait my turn and this young guy comes up and complements me on the "great sounding C5". :D We get to talking, he's running an F-body. He also mentions he's waiting for his buddy with the license plate "EATSC5S".
His buddy shows up a TransAm with 6 speed. After a couple of runs, as luck would have it, (actually I played heell trying to get lined up with him), we stage together. ;)
After the run, I looked him up in the pits to say "Sorry you went hungry tonight". :nopity

Now before you 12 & 11 second guys start laughing, LACR is 2710 above sea level and tonight we had a 40 MPH head wind. Add to that the ricers had spread oil over both lanes in the 1st 60 and, both of us were running on street tires.
If you're a totally stock C5, beware of this car, it's up to the perf of a stock C5. He has similar mods to mine.
