first to ralph i raised the back of the car about 1 inch over stock which the inside of the rear tires in some so on launch it was more straght up and down and got better traction i think or the track was prepped really good but on my burnout after the water the car was grabing real hard so i think lifting the rear worked back to the time slips

Hey Corky nice job.

So you guys are saying you raised the front, rear or both?

we raised the back of the car about 1 inch when you do this it pulls the camber in some if you look at the car from the back the tires look like they are bending in at the bottem so under full throtle and squat the tires are then straght up and down and putting maximum tire patch on the ground at least in theory but it seemed to work ill have to try some more testing to really back this up if this is the ticket for my traction problem ill be eyeing up that yank sy3500 converter for sure :cheers:

Corky, they had a nice (before) picture of your car launching at the etown photo shop. It's squatting so hard it looks like you're dragging your differential. And the wheels have a ton of negative camber so they weren't squared up with the track. Add another inch and get some 28" tires under that sucker. I little more converter and you should be there.
